My laptop’s mouse gave up on me yesterday, sad to say, so I went back using my lappy’s touchpad. Although it’s quite a hassle on my part because I was already used to grabbing a mouse whenever I get to work. So I searched the web for some trendy gadgets that might come in handy; maybe I could look for a new mouse to buy this coming payday. Well good thing I found the type of mouse that I’m going to purchase.

It’s a cool wireless mouse from Asus, the Asustek Vito W1 wireless Pulse Rate Mouse, which looks like a standard mouse just by looking at its picture, but has the capability of reading your heart rate and current pulse rate. It’s probably one of the latest medical-related “Heart Touching” innovations which I find very useful for computer users.
This magnificent device has a built in heart rate sensor which transmits data directly to your PC and also displays your current heart rate; with its pre-installed software, you can now monitor your pulse rate just by looking at your PC’s monitor. The Pulse Rate Mouse features a 2.4GHz wireless transmission and a dynamic power adjustment, a 1200 dpi laser precision positioning capability, and a 30 foot range for wireless usage. What else could you ask for in a “Heart Touching” wireless mouse that can measure your physical condition?

If you want to know more about this cool device go over at Asustek, although I suggest you need to learn Chinese first. :p
