Asus K50IJ Laptop Review and Specifications

If you are looking for a classy yet cheap but reasonably nice looking laptop as your desktop replacement, then I suggest you buy the Asus K50ij laptop. The Asus K50ij is definitely a good buy if you are into budget laptops. I just bought mine last year and I was really impressed with this notebook which only costs php26,500 $553 (last year’s pricing) but is now retailed at php 24,000 from most PC retailers here in the Philippines. I was lucky to have bought this since I was in dire need then of a budget laptop that was capable of running mainstream applications to get my work done.

Inventec 10.1-inch V10 Laptop

Inventec v10 LaptopInventec, the Taiwanese Original Design Manufacturer has just unveiled one of their cheap laptops. The Inventec 10.1-inch V10 laptop, one of the cheap laptops out in the Chinese market today. It is powered by a VIA C3 1GHz processor, 128MB of memory and a 20GB hard drive. The V10 has only Ethernet port and comes without WiFi. It is priced at 1600 Yuan, which is about $230 USD. Well this cheaptop is not bad for personal use and affordability; you could replace your low cost laptop once you’ve spared extra bucks for a Dell Mini Inspiron.

Cheap Alpha 400 Ultraportable Laptop

I’ve seen this kind of laptop somewhere when I was window shopping in the department store. Although the device I saw has a different brand on it and I don’t know what brand it was. This multi functional device, the Alpha 400 Ultra portable Laptop is cheap compared to other laptop brands out there in the market. I guess that’s how a low-end and cheap gadget should be introduced in the market. The Alpha 400 will apparently be priced from $250 (or $180 in volume), and it features a 400MHz Xburst CPU, 128MB of RAM, 1GB or 2GB of flash memory, a 7-inch 800 x 400 display, and will run on Windows CE or Linux. According to the laptop manufacturer Bestlink, the Alpha 400 is designed for communication and multimedia entertainment via Internet accessing through WiFi, ADSL, CDMA or GPRS connection. So if you’re not into high-end laptop or pc technology, then you’d probably buy one of these and just act like a gadget geek and you’re good to go.
