The people at AcidMods did a very good job at hacking the Sony PSP’s hardware and modifying it by adding an external DualShock controller, which interfaces through a single 25-pin connector mounted in the right side of the portable gaming console.

According to AcidMods forum:
The DualShock controls all of the PSP buttons (except for the volume and backlight) and can turn the PSP on and off. The right analog stick has been modified to copy the face buttons (like the razor nub), and L2 and R2 have been mapped to the left and right D-pad buttons (primarily for use in PS1 games, but useful in others as well). The analog On/Off button is used to power the PSP on and off, and the R3 button performs the Home function. All other buttons are self-explanatory.

Well it’s explained already; I leave it for you guys to comment on what they did with the device.

———————————————————————————————————————————————

Playing your Sony PSP can be fun if you have free access to a psp games download resource.
